South Farm Outdoor English Garden Wedding

It was a super hot day in August 2014 and I was sooooo excited as this was my first visit to South Farm to photograph a wedding. Since then I have been numerous times to South Farm now but this first visit will always hold a special place in my heart.

It was the wedding day of Janine and Tom and the pressure was on as Janine is the sister of one of my best friends Amy (one of the bridesmaids).

The outside ceremony was truly idyllic, it is a real wow factor at South Farm and I have a such a soft spot for outdoor ceremonies.....it's something I would definitely love one day!

The overall vibe for the day was really relaxed, with lots of soft tones, details and a huge dose of fun!

Janine and Tom your day was truly beautiful and I am so glad I got to capture it for you!

Cosy Sunday at home Engagement Shoot

It was a typical english day, slightly over cast and threatening to rain, as I made my drive to Emily-Jo and Daniel's house who were having their engagement shoot at home. Upon arrival it started to rain and after I walked into their gorgeous country cottage home, which was a sea of neutrals and sage greens, I knew that on this cosy afternoon their location was perfect!

When deciding on a location Emily-Jo had mentioned that they wanted something really relaxed, personal and that encompassed them as a couple......or should I say family, as their home is full of animals! As a trainee vet Emily-Jo has a passion for the furry friends and so does her hubby to be Daniel, who since moving into their home together has spent many a weekend building shelters in their back garden for there ever growing family!

Their love is truly beautiful after spending a decade together as childhood sweethearts and I can't wait to capture their wedding day in April!

Romantic Winter Styled Shoot - Part 2

Soooo if you missed Part 1 of this amazing shoot which was posted this morning please check it out here.

The afternoon section of the shoot saw the weather be kinder to us and it didn't rain, hooray!

We changed Nic's dress to a more boho look with the most amazing flower crown  and gold running through her dress which had a slightly see through bottom. Jay's second look saw him switch up his bow tie to a gold one and the jacket was swapped for a waistcoat.

Kick back and relax over a hot chocolate whilst viewing Part 2 of this stunning shoot!

Romantic Winter Styled Shoot - Part 1

Yesterday was such an amazing get together with some of my photography friends on this styled shoot.   Myself and Lauren put the shoot together and it definitely had that Summer Lily touch from the peach flowers, to the rose gold sequin table cloth, it was going to be a light, bright, airy and clean shoot from the offset!

The day started off cloudy but dry as we (mainly Gemma) were setting up each little area that we wanted to shoot and then just as Nicola and Jay were ready......the heavens opened and we had a downpour of snow and rain! Once it eased off we shot the first look which was romantic and wearable for all couples looking for wedding day inspiration.

Once the cold really did take over and Nic's hot water bottle was no longer doing the job, we had a break for lunch, during which Leah from Belle's Beauty funked up the look for the second half of the shoot.

It really was such a fun day and I can't wait to do another one......only in the warm next time! Check Back at Lunchtime for Part 2 which has an epic flower crown!

Danni & Zak ~ All White Romantic Wedding ~ Swan Hotel, Bedford

When I met Dannii and she told me all about her white wedding, with chapel candles, soft tones and a horse and carriage, I knew my style was a perfect match for her day!

Dannii got ready at her family home and told me there would be lots of people there and 'was I ready for a big italian wedding?!'. Her friends and family were great fun all day and not to mention the best man who was hilarious!

The ceremony was held at their Italian Church in Bedford and the reception at the swan hotel also in Bedford, with Bride and Groom portraits along the embankment.

Dannii had transformed the room at the Swan Hotel into a display of utter romance with all different size candles which ooozzzed elegance!

Here is an insight to Dannii and Zak's all white, truly romantic, wedding day!

Autumn Styled Wedding Shoot ~ Knole Park

At the beginning of November I met up with an amazing group of photographers for an autumn styled wedding shoot. It was put together by Frances and Rebecca who did an amazing job getting all the suppliers involved and sourcing us the gorgeous couple that you see in these pictures, Chantelle and Billy.

The drive down to Knole Park in kent took just under 2 hours and it was a wet day, and when I say wet, it rained solid for about 1.5 hours smack in the middle of when we were shooting. But that didn't put us off, after keeping warm with a hot chocolate, the rain eased off and we were soon able to shoot and come away with these truly autumnal photos, I do love autumn colours!
