South Farm Outdoor English Garden Wedding

It was a super hot day in August 2014 and I was sooooo excited as this was my first visit to South Farm to photograph a wedding. Since then I have been numerous times to South Farm now but this first visit will always hold a special place in my heart.

It was the wedding day of Janine and Tom and the pressure was on as Janine is the sister of one of my best friends Amy (one of the bridesmaids).

The outside ceremony was truly idyllic, it is a real wow factor at South Farm and I have a such a soft spot for outdoor ceremonies.....it's something I would definitely love one day!

The overall vibe for the day was really relaxed, with lots of soft tones, details and a huge dose of fun!

Janine and Tom your day was truly beautiful and I am so glad I got to capture it for you!

Cosy Sunday at home Engagement Shoot

It was a typical english day, slightly over cast and threatening to rain, as I made my drive to Emily-Jo and Daniel's house who were having their engagement shoot at home. Upon arrival it started to rain and after I walked into their gorgeous country cottage home, which was a sea of neutrals and sage greens, I knew that on this cosy afternoon their location was perfect!

When deciding on a location Emily-Jo had mentioned that they wanted something really relaxed, personal and that encompassed them as a couple......or should I say family, as their home is full of animals! As a trainee vet Emily-Jo has a passion for the furry friends and so does her hubby to be Daniel, who since moving into their home together has spent many a weekend building shelters in their back garden for there ever growing family!

Their love is truly beautiful after spending a decade together as childhood sweethearts and I can't wait to capture their wedding day in April!

Danni & Zak ~ All White Romantic Wedding ~ Swan Hotel, Bedford

When I met Dannii and she told me all about her white wedding, with chapel candles, soft tones and a horse and carriage, I knew my style was a perfect match for her day!

Dannii got ready at her family home and told me there would be lots of people there and 'was I ready for a big italian wedding?!'. Her friends and family were great fun all day and not to mention the best man who was hilarious!

The ceremony was held at their Italian Church in Bedford and the reception at the swan hotel also in Bedford, with Bride and Groom portraits along the embankment.

Dannii had transformed the room at the Swan Hotel into a display of utter romance with all different size candles which ooozzzed elegance!

Here is an insight to Dannii and Zak's all white, truly romantic, wedding day!

Steve & Louise Wedding ~ Harrowden Hall, Wellingborough

Every time I pack my kit ready for a wedding, I'm excited. Excited to see two people in love get married, honour their love in front of family and friends and all the little details they've spent months arranging so their day represents them as a couple. This wedding, the wedding of Steve and Louise was no different, I was excited, but I was more than excited ...... as during the time between them contacting me, meeting up, shooting their engagement pictures, having drinks at their venue visit, bumping into Louise in Costa and numerous emails and Facebook messages, I didn't just feel like their photographer, I felt like a friend, watching the two of them seal their love on this beautiful day.

The ceremony and reception were all held at Harrowden Hall in Wellingborough and what a stunning backdrop it was (even if we did get a HUGE down pour of rain smack in the middle of time for photos). Louise had also thought of every detail from wild flowers, macaroon favours, round balloons and two wedding dresses....she really is a girl after my own heart!
